The tradition of ERCS (former EARCR) conferences started in 1976 in Frankfurt (Germany) with the last one being organised in IJmuiden, The Netherlands (2013). The meetings provide an interdisciplinary forum for scientists working in the field of red blood cell structure and function in health and disease. ERCS has close links to the American Red Cell Club. The Society meets once every two years in a European country. All participants, including the speakers, cover their own expenses. We intend to gather together around 100 participants in Roscoff.
Venue
Roscoff is a coast town built on a headland of the Bay of Morlaix, which used to be a corsair town. Overlooking the sea, this is a beautiful location in the heart of Brittany about 60 kilometers away from Brest. The conference will take place in the Conference Center of the CNRS. Lunches and dinners will be served at the ‘Gulf stream’ hotel. Participants will be lodged at the ‘Gulf stream’ hotel, at the ‘Hotel de France’ and in other hotels in Roscoff.

Deadlines
To assure your attendance and accommodations, you will have to complete your payment before February 15, 2015. Registration and payment will be done online almost exclusively. The web site for payment will be open soon and we will keep you informed.
In the meantime, if you intend to present an oral communication or a poster, please let us know by e-mail before December 15 the title of your presentation. We wish to complete the scientific programme before the end of December. In case you plan to attend without talk or poster presentation please also inform us before December 15, in order to book your room. Please apply early, as the number of seats and rooms may become oversubscribed (full) before this deadline. In addition, April is the beginning of the ‘high season’ for tourism in Roscoff. Therefore we must book your rooms as soon as possible.

Registration fee
650 € for participants
500 € for accompanying persons (guests)
We have established a registration fee for all participants. This registration fee is established to encourage attendance for the entire meeting. The registration fee will be charged regardless of the length of time a participant attends the Conference.
